BT Young Scientist

Every year, Ennistymon Community School enters projects in science competitions such as Young Scientist and Sci Fest.

We had great success last year (2025), with 3 of our projects getting through to the Young Scientist final in the RDS in Dublin and one student coming third in his category nationally. 

We are always looking for new students of any age to enter. If you are have an interest in science/computers/AI etc. and you would like to enter a project, contact Mr Murphy or any science teacher. Don’t worry if you haven’t got an idea for a project – we have plenty suggestions. However, the deadline for entries is Fri 26th Sept, so you need to hurry!
